This role requires following safety guidelines, weighing and labeling products, operating meat department equipment, and supporting back-stock and pre-inventory tasks; prior grocery experience is preferred, a high school diploma is required, and the work includes varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Meat department operations.
• Must maintain high level of customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced retail environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of meat and seafood cases and work areas for sanitation and safety.
• Stocks and faces meat and seafood, ensures pricing accuracy.
• Assists customers with purchases and product selection at the meat counter.
• Operates equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks responsibly.
• Maintains proper temperature controls and labeling procedures.
• Supports pre-inventory preparation and back stock management.
