Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to keep meat and seafood cases stocked and clean, while delivering friendly, informed service to shoppers. You will assist customers with purchases, monitor product rotation, and ensure accurate labeling and pricing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing products, operating meat department tools, and maintaining sanitation. Previous grocery experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required; weekly pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience preferred in meat departments.
• Strong customer service and cross-selling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Keep meat and seafood cases clean and well-stocked in compliance with department guidelines.
• Assist customers at the meat counter with purchases, information and recommendations.
• Ensure correct pricing, labeling and product rotation.
• Operate equipment safely (knives, scales, wrappers, packaging tools).
• Assist with inventory, back stock and department sanitation.
