The Meat Clerk will also stock, rotate, and prepare meat items, maintain cleanliness, and align with programs like “Clean as You Go” and “Fresh at 4.” A hands-on, team-focused position offering opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
• Dependable and reliable with ability to perform related duties.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Follow safety, health, weights and measures regulations in the department.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform lifting up to 90 lbs.
• Capable of operating basic shop equipment and maintaining clean area.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, grind, and rotate meats following safety procedures.
