Winn-Dixie Retail Stores is seeking a Meat Associate to assist daily operations in the meat and seafood departments. The role focuses on providing fresh, appealing products and friendly, knowledgeable service while supporting a diverse and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities include preparing and packaging products to standard, operating department equipment, and fulfilling special orders. Adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulations is essential to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check required.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cutting, traying, wrapping, and labeling.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and package meat, seafood, random weight, lunchmeat, frozen food and salted meats to production standards.
• Operate department equipment and tools and fulfill customer requests and special orders.
• Stock and rotate department products to ensure freshness and minimize waste; manage inventory.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance; maintain proper temperature logs and food safety practices.
