Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a reliable Meat Service Clerk in a fast-paced store setting. You will provide customer service, assist shoppers to locate items, and help stock and rotate meat and seafood products. Attention to freshness, sanitation, and safety is essential as you wrap, label, and prepare displays.

You will work with a team to ensure a positive shopping experience, greet customers, and support the department with stocking, trimming, and food preparation tasks in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience; food safety training.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Greets customers and assists with products in the Meat/Seafood Department.
• Wraps, weighs, labels, and rotates products for freshness.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of work area.
• Stocks cases, receives merchandise, and replenishes coolers.
• Reports out-of-stock products to appropriate personnel.
• Trays, slices, tenderizes, and grinds products as needed.
• Follows company policies and dress code.
