Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Meat/Seafood Clerk to provide excellent guest service, prepare knife-ready products, and maintain sanitation in the meat/seafood department. You will use selling skills to engage guests and drive sales.

Responsibilities include stocking, pricing, rotating products, and communicating with management about shrink and guest requests. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working in cold environments, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong interpersonal and selling abilities.
• Outgoing personality and guest interaction are essential.
• Ability to work well with others and engage guests.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly, stand/wend for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and creates a selling environment in the department using selling skills.
• Prepares knife-ready meats and seafood for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, price) per standards.
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Ensures products are in date and of high quality and freshness.
• Communicates shrink issues to management and guest requests/concerns to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
