Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a team member for the meat and seafood department to deliver excellent guest service and drive sales through selling skills and merchandising programs. You will greet guests, prepare knife-ready products, and support inventory, pricing, and stock rotation to ensure freshness.

The role requires strong interpersonal and selling abilities, comfort with a cold work environment, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• Polished interpersonal and selling skills to engage guests.
• Ability to interact with guests and drive sales.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly (with assistance as needed).
• Comfortable in a cold environment and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite greetings and interactions with guests in the department.
• Prepares knife-ready meat/seafood products per standards.
• Assists with receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation in meat/seafood prep and storage areas.
• Ensures product quality and freshness; checks dates.
• Communicates shrink issues to management.
• Communicates guest requests to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
