Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to provide excellent guest service in our meat and seafood department. You will prepare knife-ready products, price and stock items, and support receiving, inventory, and merchandising.

The role requires strong selling skills, good interpersonal abilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment. Team players who communicate well with guests and colleagues are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Should possess good interpersonal skills and effective selling abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and seafood.
• Maintains safety and sanitation in meat/seafood areas.
• Communicates shrink issues to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sales and promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
