Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education.
• Reasonable ability to read and follow instructions and work safely in a meat department.

Responsibilities

• Report for assigned shifts on time and communicate clearly.
• Promote sales by discussing current promotions and services with guests.
• Provide guest service by greeting guests and sharing product information and services.
• Set cases, prepare products, weigh, price, rotate, and label products.
• Operate equipment safely, including slicer, knives, scales, and packing machines.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
• Mentor new associates and ensure guest requests are communicated accurately.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards in the department.
