Job summary

Yoke's Fresh Markets is seeking a Meat/Seafood Sales Associate to deliver friendly, efficient guest service and uphold high standards of quality in the Meat/Seafood Department. You will engage guests, suggest products, and explain features and promotions while maintaining accuracy in pricing and product handling.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, safety, and adherence to food-handling standards, with opportunities to contribute to a positive store experience for customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; communicates effectively with guests and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Report for assigned shifts on time, and communicate clearly with customers and team.
• Promote sales with guests, discuss promotions, and provide product information and recommendations.
• Provide guest service by greeting guests and informing them of features and services offered by the Meat/Seafood Department.
