Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat and Seafood Manager in Williamsburg, VA to lead the department, manage inventory and pricing integrity, and drive operational excellence. This fast-paced role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality guest service.

Compensation ranges from $20.16 to $25.20 per hour with benefits including a 30% team member discount, 401K with match, and comprehensive insurance options. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, meat cutting and/or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide accurate, timely service.
• Slice, trim, and prepare meat/seafood products following TFMO standards.
• Direct teams, train on-the-job, and ensure guest service excellence.
