Lunds & Byerlys is seeking a full-time Meat & Seafood Manager to create a sensational shopping experience. The role offers a full-time schedule with a competitive wage of $33.13/hr, based in Minnesota.

You will lead and coach the team, merchandise the department, and partner with store management to drive financial performance. Ideal candidates bring at least five years of Meat & Seafood leadership, strong customer service, and solid product knowledge, plus familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food safety certification required.
• Minimum of five years’ meat & seafood leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, OSHA regulations and retail operations.

Responsibilities

Lunds & Byerlys is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Meat & Seafood Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $33.13/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-10:00pm.

MEAT & SEAFOOD MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training employees
• Merchandising product
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory, sales, and shrink
• Analyzing financials and ensuring the department is meeting financial goals
• Maintaining cleanliness of the department
• Supporting the General Manager/Store Manager in all phases of day-to-day store operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education:
   1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Licensing Required
   1. Food safety certification
3. Experience:
   1. Minium of Five (5) years’ work experience in Meat & Seafood Leadership
4. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Service oriented with high energy and a friendly demeanor
   2. Completion of L&B Meat and Seafood training, or ability to complete.
   3. Product knowledge
   4. Comprehension of financial concepts
   5. Understanding of retail operations
   6. Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
   7. Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
   8. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
   9. Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
   10. Ability to work closely with internal and external customers
