Amazon.com Services LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a data-driven Inventory Planner for Meat & Seafood. You will own daily planning and replenishment, balancing freshness with spoilage risk through demand forecasting, supply planning, and cross-functional coordination.

You will manage inventory across a multi-tier network including 3PLs, DCs, stores, and omnichannel operations, building new processes as we transform the perishables supply chain while maintaining daily operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive experience in retail inventory planning or logistics
• Advanced Excel with data manipulation and automation
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) to build dashboards and reports
• Experience collaborating across teams to resolve operational issues in fast-moving environments
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments where processes are evolving

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory replenishment decisions for Meat & Seafood, managing demand forecast, reorder points, safety stock, and allocation
• Monitor and optimize inventory to meet in-stock service levels and turnover targets
• Coordinate inventory planning for promotions, seasonality, new launches, and store openings
• Develop and refine demand forecasting models to improve accuracy
• Conduct root-cause analyses when KPIs miss targets and report on inventory performance
