The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Department Lead to support the Department Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will lead the team with care, coach staff, and ensure the department looks its best while solving problems promptly.

You will monitor schedules, assist with inventory and promotions, and help analyze performance metrics. Prior meat-cutting experience and knife-use familiarity are preferred, with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Formación

• Minimum 1+ year of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or related business.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Help monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory, minimize shrink, and support ordering.
• Act as a resource for team members in the manager’s absence.
• Model and coach hospitality by engaging guests and creating positive experiences.
• Assist in merchandising strategies and promotions to maximize sales.
• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Utilize available technology to perform tasks efficiently.
