The Fresh Market Inc is seeking a Meat & Seafood Department Lead who will support the Department Manager in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will lead the team with care, coach staff, and ensure the department looks its best while solving problems and stepping in as acting manager when needed.

Ideal candidates have meat-cutting experience and are comfortable with knives, grinders, and meat saws.

Formación

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize shrink, and support ordering processes.
• Serve as a resource for team members and guide the team in the manager's absence.
• Model and coach hospitality by actively engaging guests and creating positive experiences.
• Help implement merchandising strategies and promotional plans to maximize sales.
• Assist in analyzing department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Leverage technology to perform these tasks.
