Job summary

You will review historical data to predict sales, maintain quality control, and promote sales through effective merchandising. A prior grocery-management background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Minimum age 18 to work; Partners must be 21 to drive for company business per policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required where applicable.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Leads department staff; interviews, hires, trains, and develops partners; plans, assigns, and directs work; evaluates performance.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions; manages inventory to keep in-stock levels.
• Maintains sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Inspects product quality and food safety; ensures date rotation and compliance with standards.
• Promotes sales via suggestive selling and attractive displays; maintains stock conditions on displays.
• Ensures store readiness; opens/closes; oversees staffing, safety, and cash handling.
