Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Meat Service Clerk to join our Meat/Seafood team. You will provide prompt, friendly customer service, wrap, trim, stock cases, and receive merchandise while maintaining high sanitation and display standards.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, locating products, stocking, labeling, and ensuring freshness. You will work with team members across departments to deliver a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food safety training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, friendly customer service in the Meat/Seafood department.
• Wraps, trims, weighs, labels, stocks cases, and receives merchandise.
• Assists customers by locating products and addressing requests.
• Maintains sanitation and neat appearance of the department.
• Reports out-of-stock items and replenishes merchandise as directed.
