Hy-Vee is seeking a Meat Clerk for its Meat Department. The role emphasizes prompt, friendly customer service, stocking cases, wrapping, trimming, and receiving merchandise in the Meat and Seafood areas.

The position requires adherence to sanitation standards and teamwork to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. The incumbent will greet customers, assist in locating products, and help maintain product displays, ensuring freshness and proper labeling.

Formación

• High School or equivalent experience, food safety training.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.

Responsabilidades

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Learn customers' names and address them by name when possible.
• Escort customers to products and assist with accessibility of items.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels product and checks freshness.
• Receives and stocks meat/seafood items and maintains clean, sanitary area.
