Job summary

Harris Teeter in McLean, VA is seeking a part-time Meat Clerk to process and stock meat products, maintain clean work areas, and provide excellent customer service. You may also perform seafood clerk duties when assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• English language skills: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information to English-speaking colleagues and customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training and work with the team to boost customer satisfaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Process/pack meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Stock, unload, and reload stock; clean work areas; provide customer service.
• Perform seafood clerk duties when assigned.
