Job summary

Harris Teeter in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Meat Clerk to process, package, and stock meat products in a safe, orderly fashion. You will assist customers, maintain clean work areas, and help unload and reload stock as needed.

The role may include seafood clerk duties when assigned. You must be at least 18 years old, read and communicate in English, and complete required training including food safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Process, package and stock meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Clean work areas and unload stock; reload salvage as required.
• Provide customer service throughout the shift; perform seafood clerk duties when assigned.
