Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department role in the Salem, NH area. You will assist Members, cut and wrap meat, rotate stock, and keep the case clean and organized to meet quality standards.

Candidates should have prior meat or deli experience, familiarity with wrapping machines, and be at least 18 years old. The job offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as part of BJ's team.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat cuts and assist in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery and ensure quality meets company standards.
• Keep meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases fully stocked and rotate products by expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat department and related areas.
