Job summary

Hy-Vee in Austin, TX seeks a Meat Clerk to deliver prompt, friendly service in the Meat department. You will wrap, trim, stock cases, and receive merchandise, while maintaining sanitation and organization.

The role requires a positive, customer-focused approach and teamwork with store staff to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, labeling items, rotating stock, and helping with Seafood preparation where needed.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience; food safety training.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in Meat and Seafood.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels products; stocks cases; maintains cleanliness.
• Assists customers, escorts to products, and handles out-of-reach items.
• Replenishes coolers and reports out-of-stock products.
