Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our Meat department.

The role focuses on providing prompt, friendly customer service, wrapping, trimming, stocking cases, and receiving merchandise in the Meat and Seafood sections. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting them to products, maintaining freshness, preparing seafood items for display, and upholding sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience, food safety training.
• Six months or less of similar or related work.

Responsabilités

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels product.
• Stock cases and rotate product; assists in seafood prep and display.
• Prepares and organizes seafood items for display.
• Maintains sanitation and clean work area; adheres to hygiene and dress guidelines.
• Replenishes coolers and reports out-of-stock items.
