Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is hiring a Meat & Seafood Clerk to keep case areas clean, stocked, and organized. You will assist customers, ensure proper temperature controls, and help with product rotations and labeling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Two years grocery retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of meat and seafood handling standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness of meat and seafood cases, storage area, and work spaces for sanitation and safety.
• Stock and present meat and seafood, facing products and tagging correctly.
• Rotate products and monitor expiration dates to prevent waste.
• Assist customers at the meat counter with purchases and product information.
• Receive and inspect shipments for temperature and quality.
• Maintain proper temperatures during production and handling of meat items.
