Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver prompt, friendly service in the Meat/Seafood department. You will wrap, weigh, label, stock, and rotate products while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role requires basic food safety awareness and the ability to assist customers in finding items and answering questions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Six months or less of similar or related work preferred.
• Food safety training or certification is a plus and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Meat/Seafood dept.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels products; stocks cases and rotates merchandise.
• Assists customers by guiding them to products and answering questions.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the work area and displays.
• Works with team to ensure department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to company policies and safety guidelines.
