Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Meat/Seafood Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and stocking meat and seafood products. You will maintain department cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards, answering customer questions with product knowledge and helping shoppers find the right items.

The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a willingness to cross-train in other areas as needed, all while representing the company’s culture of care and belonging.

Job description

The Meat/Seafood Clerk is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Meat/Seafood Clerk maintains department conditions, to include preparing, stocking and serving meat/seafood products. They also maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the meat/seafood areas and handle customer inquiries while providing product knowledge.
