Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all quality assurance standards. Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, food safety regulations, and company guidelines.
2. Promote trust and respect among associates.
3. Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions and making product suggestions.
4. Maintain knowledge of products and inform customers of specials.
5. Provide customers with ordered products in correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
6. Recommend meat and seafood items to meet customer needs.
7. Use equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
8. Prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients.
9. Check product quality and review dates.
10. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise, ensuring correct Country of Origin Labels.
11. Report discrepancies and safety issues to management.
12. Maintain proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers.
13. Practice safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
14. Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities.
15. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Ability to handle stressful situations

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
