Minimum Qualifications:
- Willingness and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
- Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, and saws.
- Ability to work safely with cleaning solutions.
- Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist colleagues.
- Calm and tactful handling of stressful situations, making positive impressions on customers and staff.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in meat processing or food preparation.
- Dependability and integrity in past work.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment, OSHA, and food safety.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
- Ensure product quality, freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
- Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized and floors clean and safe.
- Manage inventory levels and freshness in display cases; unload and prepare merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer and associate relations.
- Sanitize equipment following company and health department policies.
- Maintain a friendly and professional appearance and demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
- Promptly and cheerfully serve customers, assisting them in finding products.
- Follow all relevant laws, policies, and procedures regarding food safety and sanitation.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Adhere to dress code, grooming, and anti-discrimination policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
