Responsibilities

As a Meat Clerk, you'll work in a popular store department, providing high-quality customer service, practicing safe food handling, and demonstrating product knowledge. Your duties include receiving, storing, and grinding meats; unloading and transporting meats and poultry; verifying incoming deliveries; examining and rotating stock; assisting customers with questions and special orders; and maintaining cleanliness according to department standards. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic math skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and willing to perform related duties.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 90 lbs., moving pallets, and cleaning.

Pay Range

$15.30 - $20.85 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
