Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a hands-on sanitation worker to clean and sanitize production areas in a meat processing environment. You will complete mandatory safety and GMP training and work at high speed lifting up to 50 pounds.

The role requires standing, walking, bending, and working in extreme temperatures with exposure to moving machinery, chemicals, and slippery floors. Previous meat processing experience preferred; good attendance and safety record expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and crawl for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
• Must be able to work with multiple chemicals with proper training and personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas and surfaces.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive hand scrubbing and running a hose.
• Lift over 50 pounds and work hands-on at high speed.
