Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats LLC is seeking a Sanitation Technician for nightly plant sanitation. You will clean and sanitize processing equipment and surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and work on concrete floors in a cold/wet environment. Shift is typically 10:30 pm to 6 am with possible variations based on business needs.

Safety training will be provided as required. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to follow safety protocols, and capable of manual labor in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Must be physically capable of standing/walking 100% of shift on concrete floors and able to bend/lift up to 25 lbs. with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Complete all Safety, Chemical, and Lock Out Tag Out training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize processing equipment, production areas, and surfaces according to standards.
• Perform daily duties such as mopping, scrubbing, and drying equipment and facilities around belts and conveyors.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents safely.
• Inspect equipment and report wear or damage for timely repair.
• Manage waste disposal following company policies and regulations.
• Maintain sanitation records and ensure food safety compliance.
• Nightly sanitation of the entire plant focusing on machines, equipment, and surfaces.
