Job summary

Project LLC in Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly staff in meat portioning and processing within a fast-paced, family-operated environment. You will oversee training, performance, and engagement of the production team, ensuring product quality, yield targets, and safety standards.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate with the Production Manager, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to SOPs/GMPs/SQF/HACCP requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years in a food industry environment and at least two years of supervisory/leadership experience within a meat processing environment; FDA/USDA experience a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of people development and team motivation.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, procedures, and specifications.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production flow and supervise hourly staff to meet quality, yield, and efficiency targets.
• Train, develop, and engage hourly employees; monitor attendance and performance.
• Ensure SOPs, GMPs, SQF, and HACCP compliance and food safety practices.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to plan weekly production schedules and address issues.
• Identify cost savings and process improvements through lean manufacturing practices.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment and enforce company policies.
