Job summary

Berkot's Super Foods in Dwight, IL is seeking an experienced meat department worker to prepare meat and chicken, receive loads, and maintain display. This role involves grinder work, slicing, and ensuring products are ready for customers.

You will grind and cut meat, wrap products, and replenish the counter while meeting safety and efficiency standards. A positive, hard-working attitude and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs / push or pull 100 lbs.
• Able to stand for 5 hours.
• Able to use knives, slicers, ovens, and other machinery to complete tasks.
• Insurance package (eligible through ACA)
• Paid Leave (eligible through IL Paid Leave for All Act)

Responsibilities

• Meat and Chicken preparation.
• Receiving loads off of transportation trucks and stacking the loads properly.
• Grinding and cutting meat.
• Wrapping meat and replenishing the counter display.
• Ability to adapt to additional skills, duties, and responsibilities that are asked of the employee.
