Job summary

Berkot's Super Foods in Dyer, IN is seeking a dedicated team member for full-time meat preparation duties. You will handle meat and chicken prep, receive deliveries, grind and cut meat, and wrap/stock the counter display in a fast-paced store environment.

Applicants must be 18+, able to lift 40 lbs and stand for 5 hours, and operate knives, slicers, ovens, and related equipment. ACA insurance is offered as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs / push or pull 100 lbs.
• Able to stand for 5 hours.
• Able to use knives, slicers, ovens, and other machinery to complete tasks.
• Insurance package is eligible through ACA.

Responsibilities

• Meat and Chicken preparation.
• Receiving loads off of transportation trucks and stacking the loads properly.
• Grinding and cutting meat.
• Wrapping meat and replenishing the counter display.
• Ability to adapt to additional skills, duties, and responsibilities that are asked of the employee.
