• Ability to work 40+ hours.
• Strong attendance and safety records.

PRODUCTION HOURLY

General Summary

JBS is seeking quality, motivated people to join the JBS team. This role will involve working on a production line and performing tasks that require safe and responsible handling of knives. Responsibilities

• Use assortment of knives, steel, and a hook to perform job tasks
• Maintain sharpness of knives and develop effective knife-sharpening skills
• Operate heavy equipment
• Bag and Box product
• Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Expected to work, hands on, at a high speed and lift over 50lbs
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all food safety protocols
• Must adhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality of meat
• Prepare meat for packing, which may include shaving or washing
• Inspect meat or meat products and/or packaging
• Remain alert to surroundings and properly report hazards to a supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
