Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. Madison plant is seeking a general laborer to perform basic to intermediate knife work, including trimming and removing bones from meat products. Work environments vary by department (Harvest, Cut/Converting, Loadout) and may be cold or hot.

Lifting up to 65 lbs is common, with shifts six days a week. Candidates must provide legal work authorization in the U.S. and may be required to pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer process.

Qualifications

• General laborer duties involving basic to intermediate knife work such as trimming and bone removal.

Responsibilities

• Read order sheets and locate/retrieve boxes in a two-story rack system (Loadout), placing them on conveyors or pallets.
• Handle boxes up to 100 lbs and work in cold, damp, hot, or dry environments across harvest, cut/converting, and loadout areas.
• Must be able to work 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) and pass post-offer health assessment including urinalysis.
