Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking quality and motivated individuals to join our production floor as general laborers at our Marshalltown facility. The role involves hands-on work on the line, operating equipment, and packing meat products while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards.

Typical duties include knife handling, quality checks, and assisting with packaging. Weekend and overtime hours may be scheduled as needed to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate knives, equipment, and packing processes as directed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow food safety rules.
• Inspect product and packaging for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with bagging/boxing product and staging for shipment.
• Adhere to company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Communicate hazards or issues to supervision as needed.
