Western Valley Meat Company in Fresno, CA is seeking team members for Fabrication General Production to perform a variety of tasks in the meat processing facility. The role involves operating knives and other equipment, inspecting carcasses, and packaging products for distribution to grocery stores and restaurants.

Starting wage is $17.50 per hour during a 90-day probation with increases to $19.35–$24.50 based on job assignment.

Formación

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch and twist while using hands and arms to do simple gripping and grasping.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying objects.
• Position requires the use of knives and hooks.
• Cold environment. Average temperature 40-49°F.
• Ability to follow general workplace safety procedures and policies while wearing PPE.

Responsabilidades

• Using tools and equipment such as knives, scissors, saws, scales and other specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Skinning, trimming, sorting, hanging and inspection of carcasses and other edible offal products.
• Loading Product into machines, packaging, and boxing, labeling and scaling of product.
• Work Schedules Range from 5:45am to 6:15am depending on specific job.
• Starting Hourly Wage is $17.50 for the 90 day probationary period
• Pay goes up depending on the specific job awarded at time of hire. Range is $19.35 to $24.50.
