Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Production Associate for the Stock Yards facility in Spokane Valley. You will prepare and pack meat products to meet production demands, working in a cold environment and following safety and GMP standards. The role requires the ability to stand, lift moderate weights, and work overtime as needed.

First shift Monday–Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime possible. This position emphasizes quality, efficiency, and teamwork in a busy meat processing operation, and offers

Qualifications

• Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F-45°F.
• Related experience in production, warehouse, or food processing is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
• Effectively utilize tools, processes, and materials to package meat products within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
