Job summary

Spokane Produce, Inc. is seeking a Food Production Worker for our Commercial Kitchen in Spokane, WA. The role involves preparing sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, and salads in a USDA-regulated environment.

Candidates must have prior kitchen experience, be able to read and write English, and obtain a food handlers card before start date. Shifts start at 7:00am, Monday to Friday, with travel required to the facility.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English well enough to complete required USDA paperwork daily.
• Previous kitchen experience REQUIRED.
• Must have or obtain a food handlers card before start date.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, slicing and preparing foods such as sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, and salads in a culinary style production kitchen.
• Producing several soups and pasta salads and varieties of hummus and lasagna preparation.
• Labeling, packaging, cleaning and sanitation are also required job functions.
