Job summary

Stock Yards Facility is seeking personnel for 1st shift to prepare and pack meat products in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment. You will follow USDA safety standards and customer specifications while working with processing equipment to meet daily production targets.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, basic reading/writing/math, and the ability to stand for long periods. Overtime may be required to finish production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to follow strict food safety guidelines and customer specifications.
• Experience in meat processing or related production environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meat products to meet production demands.
• Operate tools and equipment to process and package meat within schedule.
• Adhere to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and GMP requirements.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure specifications are met and maintain cleanliness.
