Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of professional or technical experience in environmental public health work.
• Must possess a valid Missouri Driver’s License.
• Experience in meat and poultry inspection or related regulatory work preferred.

Responsabilités

• Inspect meat and poultry processing and slaughter establishments with owners, managers, and employees.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks and meet supervisor expectations.
• Work schedule may include odd hours and out-of-state or overnight training.
• Enforce applicable federal and state meat/poultry safety acts and related regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
