The State of Missouri's Bureau of Environmental Health Services seeks a qualified professional to uphold food safety regulations across settings in Raytown and statewide. The role emphasizes quality control within the manufactured food program, with most time spent in the office and occasional field inspections.

The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in science, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in science in public health, food science, microbiology or related field.
• Understanding of food safety principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to pass federal background checks for credentials.
• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, clear communication, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with maintaining compliance with national regulatory program standards.
• Manage databases of facilities, inspection records, compliance, and training and auditing records.
• Process inspection, audit reports, complaints and food recall notifications.
• Assist inspectors with field work including inspections, sample collection, and recall checks.
• Provide technical guidance to industry, local health agencies, and the public.
