Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a food manufacturing client in Milford, DE with a Plant Manager search. You will lead manufacturing departments, oversee production, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, and engineering, and drive safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior operations within meat processing, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership, Lean Six Sigma, and ERP skills. Relocation benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in leadership roles at area manager, high-level superintendent, or plant manager level in the meat industry, preferably poultry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong work history with consistent leadership roles and a track record of managing large-scale operations.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing departments within the facility.
• Oversee production, maintenance, quality assurance, supply chain, and engineering functions.
• Drive safety initiatives, ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and mentor departmental leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and talent pipeline.
