The role requires8+ years in food processing with USDA/HACCP expertise, and 5+ years supervising large teams. Strong leadership and reporting skills are essential for daily performance reviews and production planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of food processing experience (meat industry required).
• USDA and HACCP experience required.
• 5+ years supervising large plant teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant activities.
• Train, manage, and provide feedback to employees.
• Enforce food safety, personal safety, GMP, and HACCP standards.
• Ensure production efficiencies, quality targets, and staffing requirements are met.
• Prepare daily efficiency and production reports.
• Verify HACCP documentation and monitor compliance.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance.
• Ensure accurate product identification, weighing, and warehousing.
• Maintain complete and accurate production paperwork.
