Job summary

Gourmet Ranch in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Meat Production Maintenance Technician to maintain and service production/facility equipment across day shifts. The role involves preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and keeping detailed repair logs to ensure smooth operations for both day and night shifts.

Qualifications include a high school education or equivalent, plus mechanic training or trade school.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment repair and operation; able to repair and overhaul warehouse & production equipment.
• Welding ability.
• Reading and writing legibly; able to follow orders.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to production/facility equipment to ensure machinery is available for day and night operations.
• Review equipment reports, record actions/repairs, and maintain a repair log.
• Complete documentation for equipment-related activities.
• Perform PMs on equipment and maintain PM log.
• Follow safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, safe work environment).
• Maintain and secure battery-charging area and related equipment.
• Manage tools, parts, and maintenance equipment; inventory and storage.
