Job summary

Standard Meat is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to join the Saginaw Maintenance team in Texas. You will assist in monitoring building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge, can read schematics, and work safely with hand and power tools in a GMP environment. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2 years related experience.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read basic schematics.
• Experience with electrical/hydraulic systems basics.
• Safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect equipment for failures and hazards.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain maintenance records daily (One-Note, PMs, logs).
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines and plant policies.
