Job summary

FreshDirect is seeking a Meat Order Readiness Associate to process, pack, and label meat products while maintaining quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform QA on materials, follow food safety practices, and assist with daily department shutdowns. Offen weekend and overnight/evening shifts while handling up to 50 lbs in cold environments.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• Overnight or early morning start required.
• Able to work 8–12 hour shifts based on business needs.
• Experience in a related field is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (20–38°F).
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Strong English communication; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Understanding of production workflows and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Process meat including packing and labeling.

The Role: Meat Order Readiness Associate

The Meat Order Readiness Associate is responsible for processing, packing, and labeling meat products while maintaining quality, safety, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
