Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Hudson, NH is seeking a Meat Cutter/Department Leader to join our Meat department team. You will perform Meat Cutter functions, train staff, and ensure sanitation, safety, and product knowledge across beef, pork, chicken, and specialty items.

You will collaborate with store leadership to maintain schedules, drive profitability, and deliver accurate inventory and shrink control while upholding company standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage a team.
• Accreditation as Food Safety Manager or plan to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to adapt to meat department procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Meat Cutter functions and related tasks.

• Train department associates with certified trainers.
