Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for a Meat Department supervisor in Wyoming. You will lead staff, ensure product quality, manage temperatures, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service.

You will train team members, manage workloads, and implement company programs in a fast-paced store environment. Weekend availability and strong decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide production, merchandising and customer service in meat department.
• Understanding of department operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop maximum customer relations through friendliness and courtesy and policy adherence.
• Keep temperature logs updated and train staff on logs.
• Price, display, signage, rotation, freshness and space for merchandise.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Train and develop Meat department employees with a focus on courtesy and productivity.
• Implement company programs and maintain harassment-free work environment.
• Make hiring/firing and performance evaluation recommendations for meat staff.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements.
• Manage people and organize workloads.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Work cooperatively in high paced environment and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support through interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
